Today has been utterly crazy! These pirates showed up at Uncle Carel’s needing ship repairs. I could tell right away they didn’t know much about operating their vessel. The captain, Jax, seemed cool though. She actually offered to take me with them! I was so tempted to escape with them.
Of course Uncle Carel had to ruin everything. That greedy sleemo found out there was a bounty for the pirates and tried to lock down their ship. No way was I going to let that happen! I unlocked the ship for them, even though Jax still refused to take me along.
While they got into a firefight with Carel and his thugs, I snuck onto their ship – The Merry Celeste. I just couldn’t pass up this opportunity. Jax will be mad but once she realizes how useful I can be as their engineer, maybe she’ll let me stay. I know practically everything about spaceship repair and maintenance thanks to Dad.
This crew of lady pirates seems like the perfect ticket out of here. I’m so thrilled to be off on an adventure! No more getting ogled by Uncle Carel or his despicable customers. I wanna see the galaxy and have some real fun for once. This is going to be epic!
