Today was so intense! We stopped at this repair shop to fix the ship. The owner, Carel, was super creepy and kept staring at us. It made me feel icky like back at Roger’s when men would leer at us.
But then we met this nice girl named Sorin who actually knows how to repair ships. I liked her, she seems sweet. Everything was going okay until Carel found out about the bounty on us! He tried to trap us just to collect money. Some men are just the worst.
We got into a shootout with Carel and his thugs. It was really scary! I just tried shooting like Jax told me but I was so nervous. At least we all made it back to the ship safely. Sorin even helped us escape by unlocking the ship. I’m so glad she was on our side!
To my surprise, Sorin snuck onto the ship with us! I don’t know how Jax feels about that but I hope she lets Sorin stay. She’s smart and could really help us. Plus she seems nice and I think we’d get along. I could use a friend on this crazy adventure in space!
Well, just another day of barely escaping danger. I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to this pirate life but at least I have Jax and the girls looking out for me. Here’s hoping for smoother sailing ahead!
